Alicia Wilson - "Making the Impossible Happen"
Alicia Wilson may be small in stature but she is one of the most impactful and successful young leaders I know and I look up to. In this episode we will explore Alicia’s journey from graduating from a trade high school in East Baltimore, Mergenthaler Vo-Tech High School, to becoming both the youngest and first African American partner at Gordon Feinblatt to ultimately becoming the Sr. VP of impact investment and Sr. Legal Counsel to the Port Covington Development team where she was the lead negotiator in the passage the largest Tax Increment Financing Bill in US history at the time of $660 Million.
Alicia prides herself on giving back to her community and serves on several charitable boards including the CollegeBound Foundation, the Center for Urban Families, the University of Maryland School of Law Board of Visitors and the Associated Black Charities, among others.
